Scripture
“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation.” — 2 Cor. 5:17
Devotional
You and I just did something God never does—we turned the page on a calendar.
We mark time carefully.
Even though we follow an eternal God who is not bound by it.
A new year feels like a reset,
A do-over.
So, we make resolutions and set new intentions.
Each year, I choose one word to guide my prayers.
This year’s word is Transformed.
Scripture says we are not merely improved in Christ—we are made new. And that transformation is ongoing.
Cancer sharpens that truth. It rearranges priorities
and exposes what matters.
For me, this page turn carries a deeper meaning.
It marks time beyond an oncologist’s original predictionof one year.
A year that wasn’t promised has passed—and I am still here.
Transformation isn’t about fixing everything. It’s about trusting the God who is making all things new.
Prayer Request:
As this year unfolds, transform me.
Renew my mind,
shape my heart,
and help me trust Your work in me
—especially when the process is hard. Amen.
Your prayers are making a difference as I look and find the God moments to report.
